Accessibility

We want to host a conference that is open and accessible for everyone. On this page, we want to inform you about accessibility at our venue, accessible travel to and in Berlin, as well as other accessibility accommodations of our event.

Accessibility when arriving in Berlin

Berlin Central Station
The building is wheelchair-accessible, equipped with systems to guide blind people and its elevators have voice announcements, a service set up in close cooperation with the General Federation of Blind and Visually Impaired People in Berlin. The other main-line train stations in Berlin, such as Südkreuz and Ostbahnhof, are also accessible. You can find more information about accessible travel with Deutsche Bahn on their website or you can reach out to their Mobility Service Centre directly via mail or telephone at +49 30 65212888.
Berlin Brandenburg International Airport (BER)

Note that BER is the only remaining international airport in Berlin. It is located partly on the premises of the old Schönefeld Airport (SXF), which has been integrated into BER. Berlin Tegel Airport (TXL) has been closed permanently.

Berlin Airport is largely barrier-free. Accessible parking spaces and restrooms are available. You can find out more about accessibility at the airport on their website.

We also recommend that those requiring special assistance or support should also inform their airline at least 48 hours in advance.

Accessible public transport to the conference venue

Our venue TUECHTIG is located in Berlin Wedding, at Oudenarder Str. 16, 13347 Berlin.

For walking impaired persons, the easiest way to our venue TUECHTIG is to travel to Subway station Osloer Straße and then take tram M13 or 50 to Osram Höfe.

All trams are accessible low floor trams.

Subway station Nauener Platz is wheelchair-accessible. Please note that subway station Seestraße is currently under construction and has no elevator available.
